I am a front-end focused software developer with full-stack experience seeking a software developer position that will help me to grow my skills and expand my knowledge base. I have worked for almost 3 years as a member of a small team that manages the software for a group of retirement and assisted living communities, so I have a lot of experience handling a wide variety of tasks related to maintaining a multi-faceted codebase. Prior to this developer role, I earned my Doctorate as a Physical Therapist and worked for two years in an outpatient clinic. While I loved the problem-solving nature of the PT role, I didn't enjoy certain parts of the healthcare industry and ultimately made the decision to switch careers. I taught myself to code with JavaScript as my primary language, and secured a job as a Junior Developer with my current team. I have continued to learn and grow as the job requires, and I am looking forward to the next step in my career. As a devout Catholic, my goal is to find a job where my skills and life experiences can be used in service to God and my fellow men and women.
