Hi, I'm Angel Opoku—a backend developer with a strong focus on Python and FastAPI. I currently handle all things backend at Pricelyst, a platform that helps people across Nigeria find real-time prices for goods and transportation. 

I’m the only backend and platform engineer on the team, so I’m responsible for everything from building and maintaining services to setting up CI/CD pipelines and managing infrastructure. I work with Docker, GitHub Actions, and platforms like DigitalOcean, Fly.io, and Render to keep things running smoothly across dev, staging, and production environments. 

Before diving into backend development, I spent over a decade in design—which helps me approach problems with both technical depth and product awareness. I enjoy building clean, reliable systems that scale well and are easy to maintain.
