COMMUNICATION

Facilitator: Working with Director of Career Services to plan activities to foster job searching skills (resume development, mock interviews, and cover letters), organizing guest speakers, working with students and staff to schedule testing and tutoring services, and scheduling student activities.

Team Builder: Working with technology team to run livestream and sound for non-profit organization, developing policies (turn around times for emails, weekly announcements, and classroom procedures) to foster an environment conducive to learning for online college classes.

Public Speaker: Special event speaking and training, serving as keynote speaker for college graduation, designing and conducting training for The Writers Group, preparing and giving speeches.

Editor: Immortal Voices Carved in Black: writing pieces, collecting and editing manuscripts, formatting the book, coordinating cover design, and creating files for publication.

Content Writer: Idaho Real Estate Commission: writing and storyboarding continuing education curriculum, utilizing online content management system, and developing tests and activities.

Co-Author: Building Communication Theory 3rd Edition Instructor’s Manual: designing classroom activities to complement book content, developing outlines, designing graphics to clarify material.
Newsletter Editor: Stark State Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society: writing articles for quarterly newsletter, gathering contributions from leaders and members, and formatting files.

LEADERSHIP

Director: Directing, writing, and performing drama and musical performances for holiday events; managing the creation of props, slideshows, and scenery; and planning for video productions.

Vice President: Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society: writing and submitting Honors in Action Project on vaccine mandates in schools, and conducting research for project on art and science of play.

Manager: Managing classrooms and ground crews, overseeing ad hoc committee, overseeing special comedy/variety performances, leading and overseeing a wide range of projects.

MEDIA

Video Creator: Writing, storyboarding, filming, and editing on several video projects; creating graphic and musical content for video production; editing a feature-length presentation called Just One Soldier’s Story, doing voice overs for videos, and working as both director and crew on projects.

Songwriter and Composer: Writing and composing in an audio workstation for special events, writing both original music and song parodies for special musical/drama performances; using GarageBand, Logic Pro, and MuseScore to create sheet music and audio files, singing, and acting.  

Website Designer and Blogger: Designing personal website using Wix template, completing classes in HTML and CSS, writing personal blog posts, writing content for website development, coding and testing website design, and organizing and creating files (graphics, video, and audio).
