My name is Ira Reed  I attended PA Distance Learning Charter school where I earned my High School diploma.  I also was named Valley Victorian of my Class of 2016 where I had the honor to write and give a speech to my class and the faculty in June of 2016 at State College in Pennsylvania.  I went on and attended college online from Strayer University where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Computer Science in Criminal Justice in March of 2023.  Then I got an opportunity to take a cybersecurity training course slash program that was offered by Linden Pointe who partnered with Penn State Shenango to make the training program.  I will finish the course at the end of 2024. During that training course I had the chance to take the CompTIA Network Plus Certification exam and also the Security Plus Certification exam.  I earned my CompTIA Security plus certification.  I feel that God has called me to help combat human trafficking to help rescue children and others who are being held against their will by these sexual predators who like nothing more than to bring harm to children for personal gain or to fulfill their sexual desires which is awful and sad when you think about it. Honestly, I know my resume doesn't have very much job experience. I did not get a regular job like other young people because while I was earning my education I had to take care of my grandmother while my mother went to work.  It was not easy but my mother appreciated it so much. Then I also took care of my mother when she had surgery on her hips , knees, and her wrist while I went through college online.  Honestly, I just want to make a difference in the world for people and for God Almighty.  I want to bring hope to people and show them that there are people who want to help get them out of their bondage and to help them be healed of their physical, and emotional scars.  I will say I am a big  fan of superheroes. There is a quote from a character in the Spider Man comics and his name is Ben Parker and when Peter Parker Uncle Ben died he said to Peter "With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility". I feel that quote is something God might say to us. It may say he has given us a great gift but it comes with a responsibility.
