Software Engineering Intern

entry
Hello, my name is Jacob Halverson. I am currently in my final (Senior) year studying Computer Engineering in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. In addition to a degree in Computer Engineering, I also will complete a Double Major in Computer Science.
I began my college journey in Computer Engineering due to my interest in technology, however, I was not sure what direction I wanted to pursue for a professional career. I have been a Christian my whole life, but up until college I didn't take my faith very serious. Due to my early struggles adjusting to college, I began to dive deeper into my Christian Faith and focus on that area of my life. In doing so, I developed a desire to use my degree and future skills for something I find meaningful and purposeful. This led me to look into the Christian workspace as a path to pursue with my Computer Engineering and Computer Science degrees.
As a result, I am now seeking opportunities to apply my current knowledge and skills, as well as my future degree, in the Christian workspace and make a difference in the lives of those wanting to know Christ. I am currently looking for entry-level opportunities in Computer, Systems, or Software Engineering as well as other career opportunities after I graduate in May 2026. Thank you and I look forward to hearing about any available opportunities through the contact information on my provided resume.
