Lyndsey Fandel brings 9 years of experience in business healthcare progressing through diverse roles within University of Michigan Health Plan. Initially, as a Medical Benefit Coordinator, she gained foundational experience in customer service, data entry, benefit review and determination. After a few years, Lyndsey started working on software upgrade projects completing departmental testing. This led to her current role as Clinical Application Analyst Associate, developing and maintaining reports, software implantation projects, training internal and external individuals, became the main liaison between her department, internal IT department, and vendors. Driven by a passion for leveraging technology to service God’s kingdom, Lyndsey excels in communication, analyzing internal data, building and maintaining reports using excel or running queries through Power BI, troubleshooting and application support. Lyndsey is committed to creating ethical solutions, building strong relationships, and leveraging technology to help support or maintain company initiatives. Lyndsey holds a bachelor's in business management from Cornerstone University and is proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, in addition EMR systems, workflows and collaborating with multiple teams. Lyndsey is currently enrolled in Data Analytics through Google Coursera learning SQL, collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data as well as learning back-end databases. Beyond technical expertise, Lyndsey is actively involved in Portland Church of Nazarene by helping to serve during ‘Date Nights’, assist the Youth Pastor during church services, attend mid-week gathering, as well as community activities. In her free time, Lyndsey enjoys reading, spending time with family, hiking, and running 5k’s.
