Hello there,
Matthew 6:24 has been a turning point for me. I don’t want to serve money anymore. I want my work to serve God and support what He’s doing through His people.
Matthew 4:19 has been pressing on my heart: “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Mark 1:17 echoes it, and Luke 5:10 carries the same message: “Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men.” Jesus takes ordinary people, redirects their work, and gives it eternal purpose. That’s what I want for my life and my work.
For 20 years, I’ve used marketing and “selling” to move consumer attention and drive profit. I’ve learned how to understand people, communicate clearly, build trust, craft messages that resonate, and create systems that consistently produce results. Those skills are real, and they’re sharpened through experience. But I don’t want the end goal of my effort to be another dollar or another metric. I want my gifts to be used for God’s purposes.
Every church I’ve attended says the same thing in different words: find the purpose God has for you and use what He’s given you to build His Kingdom. I’ve taken that seriously. I believe my gift is communication that moves people from interest to action, from confusion to clarity, from hesitation to a next step. I want to put that gift in service of the Gospel and the mission of the Church.
I want to be clear about what I mean when I say this. I don’t want to “sell God” like a product. God doesn’t need hype. People need an invitation. They need a message they can understand, a reason to trust, and a clear path forward. Marketing, done with integrity and humility, can remove obstacles, help the right people hear the right message, and support ministry with excellence and stewardship.
If your organization needs a marketing leader who can combine disciplined strategy with a genuine heart to serve, I would be honored to contribute. Thank you for considering me.
Sincerely,
Alfonso Soldi
