Three words that describe me are: advocate, observer, and storyteller. Advocate, because I believe everybody’s voice needs to be heard. Observer because I love studying people and how they interact with the world and storyteller, because I enjoy learning about people’s life experiences.

This has been evident since interning, volunteering, and working on several writing projects in college. I graduated from Malone University in May 2023 with a bachelor's degree in History. Besides writing, I mentored incoming freshmen as part of the Office of Multicultural Services (OMS) Smartstart Mentorship Program.


Skills
Video editing and production: Created informational videos on policy issues and college activities.
Public speaking: held an informational meeting and a table for a 1-mile campaign.
Writing: Wrote articles and profiles in AP Style and Chicago Manual of Style.
Social media: Utilized social media, email and text as tools for spreading awareness about policy issues to friends, family and congressional leaders.
Fundraising: Held a fundraising campaign as part of a Public Relations & Marketing internship.
