Most of my career comes down to one job: sitting with a customer who knows what they need but can't quite put it into words, then sitting with the engineers until we build the right thing. I've done that for Apple's web teams, for diagnostic labs, and for several startups. 

What I bring is the ability to make things clear for both sides. I write user stories so engineers don't have to guess and customers don't have to explain themselves twice. I'm also the person who builds the missing pieces. If a team doesn't have a playbook, a process, or documentation...
