During my time as a Data Scientist working with City of Gold Coast a project (July–October 2024), I contributed to The Smart City Situation Awareness project by helping develop a data-driven Road Productivity Dashboard. My responsibilities included cleaning and preparing datasets, collaborating closely with fellow developers to meet project requirements, and using Tableau to analyse the cleaned data and visually demonstrate road productivity metrics. I also performed rigorous software testing to identify and resolve errors, ensuring a high-quality user experience. This hands-on experience culminated in a final performance presentation delivered to stakeholders at the City of Gold Coast, highlighting the project's outcomes and the dashboard's capabilities. My Logical troubleshooting abilities, time management, teamwork and communication skills might enable to help team. 

 

Currently, I am undertaking a thesis titled “Big Data and AI address Diabetes in Australian Aboriginal Communities,” which I have submitted to Diabetes Australia. Through this research, I have developed strong skills in literature review, critical thinking, data collection, and advanced data analysis. This experience has deepened my ability to approach complex health issues with a data-driven mindset, machine learning and AI, while also engaging with culturally sensitive topics through a responsible and informed research process.
