Overview
Lifeway is hiring a full-time Graphic Designer. This Graphic Designer position will be responsible for the conceptualization, creation, and management of print and digital marketing assets across various platforms, with a strong focus on supporting B&H Publishing, an imprint of Lifeway Christian Resources. This role involves crafting visually effective and engaging designs for web, social media, email campaigns, direct mail, and live events, aligning with the unique brand identity and messaging of Lifeway and B&H Publishing. The ideal candidate should be both creative and detail-oriented, capable of delivering compelling visuals that drive engagement and reinforce the brand's mission within the Christian resource publishing industry.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing Creative and other applicable teams in creative and pre-production planning for specific projects.
- Create visual project representations through road maps and storyboards for both print and digital media.
- Act as a marketing design representative for B&H Publishing in collaborative meetings with other teams.
- Continuously develop fresh, creative approaches to stretch the limits of visual expression, all the while supporting defined marketing strategy and upholding a commitment to excellence.
- Ideate, curate, and create digital graphics that resource Lifeway and B&H Publishing authors and support strategic initiatives.
- Remain current with industry trends and cutting-edge creative technologies, integrating inventive methods into visual content.
- Collaborate with photographers to art direct and provide support for product and campaign photo shoots through the selection and coordination of shooting locations, props, and talent as needed. Minimal travel may be required.
- Actively participate in weekly team meetings and regular project-specific meetings to foster and strengthen heathy working relationships with teammates, meet deadlines, ensure efficient workflows, and maintain seamless production processes
- Ensure the management of a well-organized digital asset library, adhering to best practices for file organization, delivery, and archiving.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience
Requried Experience and Skills:
- 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience; Related work experience may be considered to fulfill education requirement
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite design applications including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Excellent collaborative and interpersonal communication skills
- Effective at managing time effectively to meet deadlines, with a focus on maintaining flexibility
- Experience in coordinating and executing multiple creative projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
- Member of or attending an evangelical Christian church
