Connecting the ministry taking place in Mexico with donors and friends in Mexico and the United States.

THIS POSITION IS BASED IN ENSENADA, BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO. Regular on-site presence in Mexico is required, with travel to San Diego as needed. This is not a remote U.S.-based position.

Genesis Ministries is looking for a Communications and Marketing Coordinator!

Genesis Diez A.C. is a vibrant, Christ-centered ministry serving children and strengthening their lives in Baja California, Mexico. Through Rancho Génesis (camp), Casa Hogar Puerta Hermosa (orphanage for disabled children), Opening Hearts (psychology program), and Koinonia (food distribution)

Most of the ministry happens in Mexico, while many of the people who pray, give, and partner with Genesis live in the United States. We are looking for one gifted communicator who can stand comfortably in both worlds, understand the heart of the ministry, and help the ministry team, supporters, donors, and friends see what their partnership makes possible.

POSITION DETAILS

Employer: Genesis Diez A.C.
Primary location: Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.
Reports to: Gabriela Velázquez, Genesis Diez Executive Director.
Works closely with: Genesis Diez Director and GIOF leadership.
Department: Communications and Marketing
Team structure: Team leader and sole regular member of the department; gathers content from employees throughout the organization and directs communications. No regular direct reports.
Arrangement: Full-time employment in Mexico or full-time missionary.
Travel: San Diego as needed; U.S. passport/visa required.
Salary: $214,000 pesos yearly plus benefits of housing, utilities, internet - to - commensurate with experience

POSITION SUMMARY

The Communications and Marketing Coordinator Missionary serves as the creative and communications leader for Genesis Diez A.C. and its collaboration with Genesis International Orphanage Foundation (GIOF).

As the head and only regular member of the department, this person owns communications strategy, bilingual messaging, brand consistency, editorial quality, content production, publication, donor stewardship communications, and performance review across digital, social media, and print channels.

The main role is creating and cultivating written, photographic, and video content to build a dependable pipeline of ministry-impact stories, staff perspectives, program updates, and testimonies that reflect the heart and work of Genesis Ministries and convey its message with a uniform voice.

The Coordinator works independently with the Genesis Diez Executive Officer’s over-site, while drawing on the abilities of Genesis Diez staff members and other content contributors. Leadership is exercised through planning, standards, clear creative briefs, management, project assignments, editing, collaboration, and follow-through.

This position is focused primarily on Genesis Ministries and its donors.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Excellent communicator.
Highly organized.
Native-level command of U.S. English and full professional fluency in Mexican Spanish. The selected person must write, edit, speak, and translate naturally for American donors and Mexican ministry colleagues.
If a Mexican Citizen, need a US visa

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field.
Prior experience or exposure in a communications role.
