Director of Marketing

Strategic Responsibility:
This position will lead the company’s marketing efforts to maximize consumer engagement and drive revenue growth and customer data acquisition, build strong artist and ministry platforms by guiding and leading the marketing process for artist-driven music projects (e.g., singles, albums, EPs, specifically in a church worship music setting etc.), and to ensure strategic alignment across all aspects of marketing including the song promotion, digital/streaming, social media, YouTube, publicity, and radio. The person in this role shall maintain a leading-edge understanding of digital marketing (to include SEO and metadata trends) and establish and monitor metrics to advance the success of Integrity Music’s digital marketing mix (to include advertising and promotions, social media engagement, CRM and database marketing, eCommerce efforts, etc.).
The position serves as the primary creator, implementer and overseer of marketing plans and timelines that achieve business objectives for Integrity Music Christian praise and worship products, artists, and projects that directly impact CCLI. They will lead and oversee the work of an extended marketing team that includes designers, digital advertising/social media experts, publicists, song marketing, radio promotions, and outside vendors. This position is also accountable for communicating marketing plans and progress to internal and external stakeholders including A&R, Publishing, and Production, as well as artists and management.

Job Description:
- Oversee the process of developing creative briefs that guide designers to create product packaging and marketing collateral aligned with the strategy. This includes developing brand story/narrative and related positioning for artists and projects, as well as identifying and managing gaps and key strategies from the SWOT process.
- Maintain a leading-edge understanding of key SEO and metadata trends (establishing quantifiable goals and metrics, focused on improving the effectiveness of Integrity Music's digital advertising and promotions, social media engagement, eCommerce efforts, etc.), and how they relate to key algorithms and consumer behavior in order to deliver powerful and actionable customer insights to drive customer satisfaction and growth.
- Manage and monitor progress of the marketing plans throughout the life of the project and brands, directing strategies that optimize content and SEO at YouTube, TikTok, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and other video streaming platforms resulting in quantifiable growth in revenue and subscribers/followers.
- Lead the team to collaborate cross functionally to identify priority songs and take action on related promotional strategies, to expand CRM efficiency/reach/impact, to implement best practices related to digital marketing, social media, consumer insights, and consumption trends.
- Lead, create, develop, write, and implement marketing strategy and plans designed to efficiently accomplish business objectives specifically as a leader in the praise and worship segment of Integrity Music’s core business.
- Partner with CMO to explore new digital revenue streams (e.g. NFTs, live streaming events, emerging platforms/apps, etc.); and, incorporate viable options into Integrity Music’s digital business strategies.
- Oversee and achieve budget accountability with each project and overall Integrity Music marketing budget.
- Maintain positive and productive relationships with artists and managers, external strategic partners, DSPs, social media and digital marketing platforms.
- Collaborate as needed with Service & Innovation and Finance/Ops, and IT teams to identify and implement opportunities to automate and streamline key processes and to integrate actionable data into the business.

Qualifications
Position Requirements:
Formal Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Business strongly required.
Experience: 7-9 years of professional marketing experience of which 3+ years of experience in the music industry required. Christian Music industry experience strongly preferred. They must be adept at organizing/managing projects and meeting timelines. They should possess a demonstrated ability to translate strategy into effective tactics specifically in the sphere of praise and worship music in a church/ministry environment. Experience with digital advertising, SEO, social media marketing music and collaborating with artists/managers highly desirable. Excellent communications and people skills are a necessity. Experience with graphic design, HTML and video/audio editing are required.
Specialized Knowledge/Certification: Keen understanding of and passion for Christian worship and Contemporary Christian Music, specifically pertaining to songs that succeed in a church environment as opposed to radio singles, with proven knowledge and awareness of labels, artists and movements. Knowledge of all facets of digital marketing.
Equipment Knowledge: Mac Computers. Knowledge and experience with MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and video/audio editing software helpful.
