Position Summary 
We’re seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our Creative and Marketing team. In this role, you’ll support our mission by creating compelling visual content across multiple channels, from donor campaigns and social media to print materials, video projects, and outreach resources. You will report directly to the Senior Director of Creative and Marketing and will be expected to handle a wide range of projects with minimal supervision. This is a dynamic position that involves contributing to both planned and ad-hoc projects typical in a fast-paced nonprofit environment. 

Key Responsibilities 
  • Design marketing materials for fundraising campaigns, including direct mail (magazines, booklets, invitations), email campaigns, social media graphics, and digital ads 
  • Develop visual materials for outreach resources, including program guides, classroom materials, handouts, and informational graphics 
  • Support video projects with graphics, lower thirds, and other visual elements 
  • Develop print and digital collateral for events, programs, and donor stewardship initiatives 
  • Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints while bringing fresh, creative ideas 
  • Collaborate with team members on multi-channel campaigns and creative projects 
  • Assist with website updates and digital content optimization 
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision 
  • Create designs for social media content that reflect brand voice, drive engagement, and enhance visual storytelling. 
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative concepts 
  • Take on ad-hoc design tasks or creative projects as needed to support the organization’s mission 

Required Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field 
  • 1–3 years of professional design experience (internships and freelance work considered) 
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills across digital, print, and outreach materials and print materials. 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) 
  • Understanding of social media best practices and platform-specific design requirements 
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to take direction and implement feedback 
  • Passion for nonprofit work and mission-driven organizations 
  • Ability to manage projects independently, prioritize tasks effectively, finishing high quality work on timelines 
  • Something about tenacity, on-deadline, timeline management, efficiency, etc.

  • Knowledge of Canva, Mailchimp, or other marketing platforms 
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 tools 
  • Experience with web design or content management systems 
  • Motion graphics or animation capabilities
