Help design software that empowers churches instead of overwhelming them.
As a Product Designer at EasyWorship, you'll shape a platform used by churches worldwide. You'll partner with our Product Manager to create intuitive, approachable software. You'll identify design problems, explore solutions using research and data, and translate those insights into user flows, interactions, and interfaces. As the primary designer, you'll own our design system, make strategic UX decisions with the PM, and work directly with developers to ensure your designs are implemented with quality and consistency.

Why EasyWorship?
- Direct impact: Your designs immediately affect how thousands of churches run their services every Sunday
- Ownership at scale: Be the design voice for a growing platform, not one designer among many
- True partnership: Work directly with PM and developers with no bureaucratic layers
- Best of both worlds: The stability of an established company (20+ years, profitable) with the opportunity of a growth phase-- we're expanding our platform without the chaos of a startup
- Mission-driven work: Serve churches and ministry organizations who deeply value what you create
What You’ll Do
- Own and evolve the product design system: Build and maintain components, patterns, and documentation that scale across the platform. Audit existing interfaces and drive system-level improvements.
- Design new features end-to-end: Partner with the PM throughout feature definition. Translate requirements into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity screens. Establish information architecture and interaction patterns.
- Validate with research and data: Use qualitative feedback and quantitative metrics to inform design decisions and measure product impact. Conduct user testing to uncover insights.
- Collaborate with developers: Communicate design rationale effectively and engage in constructive feedback with the team. Create clear specs, annotations, and assets (Figma or similar) that enable smooth implementation.
- Design for multiple platforms: Ensure experiences work seamlessly across Windows, Mac, web, and mobile.
What We’re Looking For
- ~3-6 years of professional product/UX design experience: Portfolio showing your design process and shipped outcomes. We want to see how you think, not just final pixels.
- Design system experience: You've built or contributed to component libraries, patterns, or documentation. Comfortable establishing standards that scale.
- Strong interaction design skills: Can design usable flows for complex, data-driven interfaces and edge cases.
- Polished UI execution: Strong attention to visual details. Your work is production-ready and maintains quality across platforms.
- Research-driven approach: Experience with usability testing, user interviews, analytics, and other methods to validate decisions and uncover insights.
- Developer collaboration: Skilled at creating clear specs and handoffs in Figma. Responsive during implementation to resolve questions and maintain design quality.
- Independent and adaptable: Takes initiative, tackle assigned work independently, and stay effective in ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Creative growth mindset: Intellectually curious and eager to challenge assumptions. You actively explore better design approaches and stay current with evolving methods and tools (including AI).
- Collaborative and open to feedback: Comfortable giving and receiving constructive critique to improve designs.
- Authorized to work in the US
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience designing for SaaS or web application workflows
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices
- Experience using analytics tools (e.g., PostHog, Amplitude) to inform design decisions
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and how technical constraints inform design decisions
- Experience with or passion for faith-based, nonprofit, or mission-driven products
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of $75,000 to $100,000, depending on experience
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k), with company contributions
- Generous PTO
- WFH Fridays plus 2 weeks of WFH days to use at your discretion
The Team
You'll report to the product manager (who leads the product team) and collaborate closely with both the PM and developers.
The PM guides product strategy and UX direction; you own design execution from user flows to visual polish. You'll partner with the PM to make strategic UX decisions, then work directly with developers to refine designs, resolve implementation questions, and ensure quality throughout development.
