<h3>VIDEO SPECIALIST – CAPTURE</h3><div><br></div><div><br></div><h3>YOUR ROLE</h3><div>You're the person who brings the pieces of a set together for the day of the shoot - lighting, setting up audio, framing shots, and capturing b-roll that tells a story. You'll own the front half of our video pipeline across teaching content, testimonies, and new product formats. You will also edit, but your primary home is on set.<br><br></div><div>The footage you capture impacts everything downstream. We're looking for someone who feels that weight and rises to it. Video Specialist – Capture

<h3>BACK-END SOFTWARE ENGINEER</h3><div><br></div><h3>YOUR DAY IN THE ROLE</h3><div>You would be doing back-end engineering primarily in Ruby, shaping and sustaining the application logic and data systems that serve Desiring God's mission. Your primary focus would be developing and maintaining our GraphQL API and supporting our Ruby-based CMS, while also updating and extending legacy systems to ensure stability and modernization as we transition toward a unified, API-first platform.<br><br>You would help build the back-end foundation for a premium, cross-platform product experience across web, iOS, Android, and smart TV. This includes enabling core platform capabilities such as content catalog APIs, account-state progression (guest/known/partner), access and entitlement logic, playback continuity (history, resume, favorites, library), and reliable media/video workflows.<br><br>To accomplish this, you would also contribute to data-platform integrations and data modeling that strengthen recommendations, analytics, reporting, and organizational insight. In addition, you'd help manage platform reliability responsibilities - supporting deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence.
