Lead Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

SecureGive is a Christian faith-based organization that serves churches and nonprofits. With a vision to see every ministry fully funded, we build and provide technology that empowers people to give. As a Lead QA Engineer joining our team, you will be a key contributor to building enterprise-level giving and donation management solutions. You will get the chance to work as part of a faith-focused and talented Agile team to create and maintain a broad suite of software applications, including Web, Mobile, Kiosk, SMS, and more. 

What you will be doing:
  • Leveraging test automation and writing manual tests to provide and track test coverage across the products
  • Create and maintain testing artifacts, such as test plans, test cases, test coverage reports, automation scripts, automation success metrics, etc…
  • Coding automated tests to enhance the productivity and capability of the test team
  • Testing all aspects of the products
  • Defining and executing test plans
  • Defining and upholding QA standards
  • Using data to drive decisions on what regression testing efforts should be executed to provide the best test coverage possible for each deployment so the company has confidence in the product being released
  • Delegating tasks to the team, both manual and automated, to keep work balanced, increase communication, and prevent work silos
  • Defining and delivering metrics to leadership on the execution, coverage, and effectiveness of QA efforts
  • Working with Support to identify and prioritize bugs found in production
  • Regularly communicating with the QA and Development Teams

Must Have:
  • Live in Augusta, GA area or be willing to relocate/commute
  • 3+ years of automation test experience
  • 3+ years of manual testing experience
  • Experience with End to End testing as well as Load testing
  • Experience with Web Service (API) testing
  • Strong knowledge and experience with test methodologies, QA process, and software release cycle
  • Demonstrated ability to apply appropriate test methodologies including writing test plans, test cases, and tracking test coverage
  • Strong knowledge of release procedures and software defect tracking
  • Solid proficiency in test effort estimation and tracking
  • Programming and Scripting proficiency

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum software development methodologies
  • Knowledge of at least one development language (Java, C++, C#, etc.)
  • Experience with Playwright Automation Testing tools
  • Database fundamentals (SQL)
  • Bachelor's degree
