Who We Are

CV (Christian Vision) is a global organization that exists to introduce people to Jesus and encourage them to become his true followers. Founded in 1988 by Robert Edmiston, CV is driven by a pioneering spirit embracing creativity and innovation to advance evangelism through new horizons, in both physical and digital realms.

Are you passionate about sharing the gospel and motivated by a desire to create meaningful change at scale? CV offers a unique mission-driven opportunity to join a team forging bold frontiers in evangelism.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled, creative, and strategic Operations Manager who shares our passion for evangelism and wants to join our dynamic team in Dallas, United States.

This role is responsible for ensuring the systems, tools, workflows, and data infrastructure supporting the CV Platform are efficient, secure, and scalable. Reporting to the Initiative Lead, you will oversee platform operations, vendor relationships, workflow alignment, and the product backlog to enable smooth publishing, accurate data, and reliable integrations.

Working closely with Content, Marketing, Localisation, and Operations teams, you will maintain a high-performing CV Platform website and ensure data governance best practices are upheld—requiring fluency in analytics, reporting, and operational decision-making.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Lead the CV Platform product backlog, translating strategic direction from the Initiative Lead into actionable development plans with clear sequencing and resource allocation.
  • Maintain and improve Jira, Craft CMS, and project management workflows (including asset naming, metadata, and versioning) to ensure operational quality and accurate reporting across tools such as ClickUp.
  • Serve as primary liaison to the Platform Development Partner, managing performance, scope, delivery timelines, and contract discussions for additional development capacity.
  • Act as a coordination point for cross-functional priorities, synthesising input from content, marketing, localisation, data, and leadership to support informed decision-making.
  • Support shared KPI alignment by collaborating with peer managers and ensuring data accuracy, consistent metric definitions, and operational clarity.
  • Oversee the integration and interpretation of performance data (GA4, Power BI, HubSpot, Craft CMS), partnering with the Data Analyst to validate pipelines, reconcile discrepancies, and surface insights that guide optimisation across campaigns and content.
  • Maintain CMS permissions and provisioning to ensure platform security, governance, and role-based access integrity.
  • Refine SOPs and timelines for content creation, localisation, publishing, and campaign execution, driving adoption of tools and processes that enhance cross-team efficiency and collaboration.
  • Manage CV Platform operations budgets in NetSuite, tracking expenditure against quarterly forecasts and reporting on vendor contracts, tools, travel, and team development.
  • Line-manage the Technical Product Specialist, Systems Integration Specialist, and Data Analyst, leading one-to-ones, resolving blockers, and supporting professional development.
  • Promote shared accountability across teams and empower staff to drive process innovation and system improvements that increase CV Platform efficiency and impact.
  • As part of a global organisation, you will be required to collaborate across time zones, which may involve out-of-hours availability.

General Responsibilities

Fulfil all duties outlined above for this specific role, and as directed below for all team members within CV. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Actively pursue personal, professional, and spiritual growth.
  • Contribute positively to our team culture by upholding CV’s values in attitude and action.
  • Comply with all CV policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity in all matters.
  • Engage fully in staff and team meetings, collaboration, and communication.
  • Commit to continuous learning and development as needed for the role.
  • Foster respectful, clear, and constructive communication across all interactions.
  • A practising Christian in full agreement with the CV Statement of Faith.
  • Actively involved in a local church or Christian faith community.
  • Committed to living according to biblical values.

Skills, Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in operations, digital project management, platform administration, or a related technical role.
  • Experience managing digital publishing workflows, CMS operations, and multi-step content delivery pipelines.
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional priorities across content, marketing, localisation, data, and development teams.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and collaborating with third-party development partners.
  • Experience with operational budgeting, forecasting, or resource allocation (preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira, Craft CMS, and collaboration/project management tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in analytics/reporting tools (GA4, Power BI, HubSpot), with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Solid understanding of web platform architecture, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, tracking implementations, and CMS internationalisation.
  • Understanding of GDPR and data governance best practices.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with a bias for clarity, structure, and consistency.
