Position Overview
The Digital Asset Manager reports to the Director of Digital Asset Management and carries out daily implementation of strategies and plans under the Director’s direction and oversight. The Digital Asset Manager plays a key role in advancing the Come & See mission by ensuring that master TV episodes, translations, and marketing assets are organized, preserved, and ready for global distribution. This position blends technical and operational excellence with a heart for stewardship, ensuring that every piece of media, from episodes to promotional content, is prepared and accessible to reach audiences worldwide. Through thoughtful organization, metadata management, and workflow design, this role connects production, marketing, and distribution, turning creative assets into tools for ministry impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Video Management Platforms under the direction of the Director of Digital Asset Management, ensuring consistent organization and reliable access
- Oversee the stewardship, versioning, and quality control of master TV episodes, trailers, translations, and marketing materials
- Ensure that metadata and taxonomy standards are applied accurately so assets are searchable, discoverable, and ready for activation across platforms and languages
- Partner with production, post-production, marketing, and localization teams to align workflows for timely and accurate asset delivery
- Apply human-centered design principles to create clear, intuitive structures that meet the needs of both internal teams and external partners
- Use data-driven insights to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and improve efficiency
- Develop and uphold governance policies that maintain consistency, protect intellectual property, and ensure metadata accuracy
- Provide training, documentation, and guidance to promote adoption and best practices in asset stewardship
- Collaborate with IT, creative, and operational teams to align systems and processes with organizational goals

Competencies & Qualifications
- Proven experience managing a Digital Asset Management (DAM) or Media Asset Management (MAM) system
- Knowledge of metadata standards, taxonomy, naming conventions, and rights management
- Curiosity to learn new technologies and grow in stewardship and innovation
- Strong understanding of film and television production workflows, including pre-production, post-production, and distribution
- Familiarity with media file types and formats such as ProRes, MXF, WAV, MP4, and VTT and their appropriate uses
- Familiarity with localization and translation workflows including subtitling, dubbing, and multi-language distribution
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Data-informed mindset with the ability to translate insights into meaningful improvements
- Effective communicator and collaborator across creative, technical, and ministry teams
- Customer Service: Extremely responsive to internal and external customer requests, exceeding expectations
- Integrity: Earns trust and maintains confidence; does what is right, speaks plainly and truthfully
- Collaboration: Builds relationships and rapport throughout the organization through collaborative team building

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with Aprimo and Imagen platforms a plus
- 4-6 years experience managing post-production final assets, or a video/digital asset management system.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection (1GB+, fiber preferred)

- Ability to participate in video conferences and virtual meetings
- Ability to consistently lift up to 20 lbs
- If hired as remote, readiness to travel roughly once each quarter
