As a Marketing Generalist at Undershepherd, you’ll be the go-to for all things marketing. From executing cold outreach campaigns, to crafting compelling blog content to building backlinks and optimizing for SEO, you’ll play a key role in helping us grow our presence and impact. Whether you’re brainstorming new growth strategies, experimenting with creative marketing tactics, or diving into data to see what’s working, you’ll have your hands in a little bit of everything.

Bonus points if you’re a jack-of-all-trades with experience across multiple areas of marketing—double bonus if you’ve got a knack for writing and love testing creative ideas!

🛠️ What You’ll Do:

Execute cold outreach campaigns to generate leads and build relationships.
Craft and refine engaging content for blogs, email campaigns, and social media.
Build high-quality backlinks to improve SEO rankings.
Analyze and optimize content and campaigns for performance.
Collaborate with the founder to ideate and execute marketing experiments.
Stay curious and proactive, dabbling in different tactics to see what works best.

💡 What We’re Looking For:

A self-starter with a "let's figure this out" attitude.
Experience with a cold outreach tool like Instantly or something similar.
Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to write content and understand the SEO implications (bonus points if familiar with a tool like Ahrefs, Semrush, or Moz).
An interest in social media marketing (nice to have, but not required).
Someone who thrives in the dynamic, fast-paced, and fun environment of a startup.
A natural problem solver with a creative, strategic mindset.
