You will also dive into the details to understand our complex system of environments and applications, with a drive to identify opportunities to better our security practices. &nbsp;<br><br></div><div><strong>What you'll be doing:</strong>&nbsp;<br><br></div><ul><li>Cultivate a diverse, high-performing team that gets results and challenges for better ways to get results.</li><li>Partnering with varying teams in improving our security best practices and driving items to policy adherence</li><li>Contribute to reusable automation scripts, libraries, services, and tools to increase system and process efficiencies.</li><li>Collaborate with others to promote, design, and create tactical and strategic plans to look for innovative ways to improve our initiatives.&nbsp;</li><li>Partnering with the security teams and tools to continually review and understand new industry security threats, associated technologies and quickly addressing vulnerabilities</li><li>Lead teams in technical design, planning, and delivering on our commitments within assigned responsibilities.&nbsp;</li><li>Effectively collaborate in vendor engagements to expand our workforce capacity as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Partner with Product Management and Application Engineering to align on operational needs, especially focused on security initiatives. &nbsp;</li></ul><div><br><strong>What we'll want you to have: </strong>&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>You are either a security-interested engineer who has experience leading small teams working in agile software development, or a development-interested security practitioner with leadership and coding skills who understands security best practices but wants to get closer to development and engineering.&nbsp;<br><br></div><ul><li>B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience Preferred</li><li>Experience leading or managing in Operations, Engineering, and/or a DevOps (SecDevOps culture a plus).&nbsp;</li><li>Experience partnering with cross-functional teams (various departments, Offshore vendors, etc.)</li><li>Experience partnering with development and systems engineers on impactful security initiatives. &nbsp;</li><li>Experience in the implementation of cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Oracle) and an understanding of SAAS, PAAS, and IAAS models and with common web technologies required – JavaScript, C#, .NET, HTML, AJAX or other equivalent Object-Oriented language. &nbsp;</li><li>Experience building high-performance, scalable, robust, 24x7 environments and/or applications &nbsp;</li><li>Experience creating scripts or automation, such as Perl, PowerShell, Python, TCL/TK, Ruby or similar for cloud orchestration required (PowerShell preferred) &nbsp;</li></ul><div><br></div><div>Blackbaud is a remote-first company that embraces a flexible remote work culture.&nbsp; Blackbaud supports hiring and career development for all roles from the location you are in today!<br><br></div><div>Blackbaud is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer committed to maintaining a diverse and inclusive work environment.
