Help us carry out our Christian organization's mission, vision, and strategies by building customer-facing websites, web apps, and other digital properties.<br><br></div><div><strong>What You Will Do</strong></div><ul><li>Deliver working software to millions of users.</li><li>Write high-quality, immersive, and interactive software experiences in technologies like JavaScript, Node.js, HTML5, and CSS with Lottie, GreenSock (GSAP), or other animation libraries.<ul><li>ReactJS, WordPress, PHP, Azure, and WebSockets experience a huge plus.</li></ul></li><li>Advocate and teach less senior developers best practices such as Loose Coupling, KISS, DRY, YAGNI, Separation of Concerns, Single Responsibility etc.</li><li>Collaborate and partner with the Product Design Team through Design Sprints, ensuring designs are not only visually appealing but also feasible, efficient, and optimized for performance.&nbsp;</li><li>Interactive In-Market Prototyping: convert design blueprints into sophisticated, rich interactive prototypes using a range of tools, integrating real-time feedback from various stakeholders to iterate rapidly.&nbsp;</li><li>Develop and maintain code-aspects of our Design System.</li><li>Collaborate with QA team, full-stack Apps team, and digital solutions team.</li><li>Keep Christ central in our individual and corporate lives. Attend and participate in weekly devotions, chapel services, and regular prayer.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Who You’ll Work With</strong></div><ul><li>Product Managers and UX designers envisioning excellent user experiences.</li><li>Full-stack developers on the Apps team.</li><li>QA testers.</li><li>Delivery Ops who manages all support, maintenance, and on-call duties.</li><li>Technical Program Managers who will help identify and break down work.</li><li>API developers on our backend enterprise Web Services team.</li><li>Architects of various aspects of our system.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Required Experience</strong></div><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant work experience (4 years).</li><li>In addition to education or education equivalent, requires 5-8 years of work experience in web software development.</li><li>A portfolio of front-end design implementations (upload samples w/profile attachments or provide link when prompted during application process).</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Excellent eye for design.</li><li>Expertise in interactive and immersive web experience with animations, micro-animations, and mobile rendering.</li><li>Expertise working with a team of developers in the same codebase.</li><li>Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.</li><li>Familiar with Figma and other design tools.</li><li>Familiar with Agile/Scrum and Kanban methodologies.</li><li>Experience launching consumer-facing software solutions.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Salary Range &amp; Benefits</strong></div><div>Your compensation and benefits are important to you so they’re important to us. The salary range for this role is $107,412.98 - $178,259.84. Applies to locations with a market similar to our U.S. HQ in the Greater Seattle area.
